Mickey
Burns
Mickey Burns is a native of Staten Island, New York, where he was a three-sport star in high school earning All-City honors in football and baseball. Mickey attended Missouri Valley College on a football scholarship followed by earning masters degrees at Central Missouri State University in Education and Communications. Mickey's television roots can be traced back to Fox 5 News where he helped produce the "10’ O’ Clock News", The McCreary Report", and "Sports Extra". In 1988-1989 Mickey was also a member of two Emmy Award winning specials, "Pro Life vs. Pro Choice" and "Domestic Violence", which he helped produce while at Fox. In the 90s Mickey hosted, anchored and starred in numerous television programs such as "Special Edition", "Island View", and "Staten Island Live" for Time Warner Cable, Inc. In 1994, Mickey became one of the founding members of Quest Media Entertainment, Inc. In 1998, he created Quest Media’s most popular and successful show, "Profiles". At Quest Media, Mickey is responsible for writing, producing, hosting, and overseeing the daily operations of the company. According to Mickey, "hosting and producing Profiles has been the most challenging and most rewarding experience of my broadcasting career."
Gary Huminy
Gary Huminy is co-founder and executive producer at Quest Media. At Quest Media, Gary is responsible for account management, editing, producing, and shooting. In 1987, Gary graduated with a Broadcast Management degree from Kingsborough College. As Editor and creator of "Rock-N-Review", a section in Kingsborough college's "Scepter" newspaper, Gary managed to bring in various high-profile celebrities such as Ozzy Osbourne, Manowar, Genesis, Stacy Q, and many others. In 1988, Gary was recruited as the executive producer of a cable show called "Flashback". From 1992-95, Gary was the assistant producer of a production company called "Vision Quest" in which he was in charge of infomercials, and commercial production and placement. A year later, Gary anchored and produced news segments on "Island View", where he met Mickey Burns. In 1994, Gary and Mickey joined together to build Quest Media Entertainment. At Quest, Gary produces the cable shows "Special Edition" and "Profiles". He is also in the midst of producing two new shows, "Strictly Women" and "Road to Success" projected to launch in 2003. In addition to his production experience, Gary has also directed several plays and was the leading puppeteer in "Roshoman".
Bill
McCreary
Bill McCreary is Media Consultant and Host for one of Quest Media's programs, "Road To Success". Emmy Award - winning Journalist Bill McCreary is a former vice - president of Fox Television station WNYW - TV (channel 5 in New York). Bill has received major recognition and citations for his works as a newscaster and for his outstanding contributions to the African - American community. He has also received two Emmy Awards, one for the "10 O'Clock News" and one for "Black News". (more)
Moe
Monty
Moe Monty is the editor and producer at Quest Media. Moe joined the Quest team in 1999, bringing in her own unique style of editing and improving the quality of Quest's cable shows, features and production. Moe is responsible for post-production and editing of Quest's cable shows, including "Profiles" and "Special Edition". She is also in charge of handling all other production projects and in-house commercials. Moe graduated From De La Salle University, with a BA degree in broadcasting and a BS in Finance. Upon graduating, Moe was a digital editor for DV Post, a production company based in Manila, Philippines. At DV Post, Moe specialized in documentaries, short-films, and post-graduate thesis.
Andrea Vadala
Andrea Vadala is Public Relations for Quest Media, and wears "many hats". Andrea works on both coasts L.A. and N.Y.. Her mentor's in the entertainment industry is Richard Rubenstein of Rubenstein Public Relations in New York and her father, who works at ABC TV for over 30 years. Andrea has also managed the production company, of Joe White Communications. She has assisted as spokesperson/model in various marketing promos with an endless list of clients/products both on the East Coast and the West Coast. She has handled Film/Record release parties, TV wrap parties, VIP events. She acted as Promoter for VIP special events/promotions for numerous clients, such as "Hawaiian Tropics" and "Miss L.A. Street Racer", at a famous Supper Club in Los Angeles. Andrea is also a commercial print model and actress that works with some of the best directors in the independent film arenas throughout the U.S. Andrea switched from FIT school in New York to attend Berkeley College with an emphasis in Business and Marketing.
Silvana Ximena
Silvana Ximena is a Freelance photographer for Quest Media. She was born in Peru the daughter of a cameraman and an Associated Press journalist. She spent her childhood in the gritty borough of Brooklyn and went on to graduate from Alfred University with a BA in Fine Arts. With this dynamic background, Silvana is accustomed to doing what it takes to get "the shot". With widespread experience she has photographed a variety of subjects in both New York and in her native Peru. From South American panorama to fly on the wall flashes of chic New York wedding receptions, Silvana has blown the bulbs in a motley of settings. In Versailles, she framed the Chateau de Versailles and its distinctive gardens. During the summer of 2005, she snapped a portraiture spread of regulars enjoying their rare brand of life and booze in trendy SoHo. The production was appropriately tagged "Raising the Bar". But enough is never enough. Mirroring her traveler's background, Silvana pushes the boundaries of her subjects, looking ever to explore new territory with a Balboian flair.
Laura Ameruso
Laura Ameruso has been co-host for Quest Media Entertainment, Inc. since 1998. She co-hosts “Profiles”, reports for a news program titled “Special Edition” and had the privilege of interviewing such luminaries as General Colin Powel and Harry Belafonte. She is assisting in the production of Quest Media’s new show, a pilot “Strictly Women”.
Laura has also appeared in numerous commercials, films, and is currently reporting for various news programs that can be seen throughout the tri state area. She has her own marketing and promotional company.
Laura has earned a degree in Communications and a MBA in Marketing from St. John’s University. She studied in Rome and traveled all throughout Europe. Theater and film acting were one of her main passions in college, which laid the foundation for present success.These experiences combined with years of achievement in the entertainment industry have given Laura an extensive variety of talent and skill.
Tiffany
Walker
Tiffany Walker, is Co-Host for Quest Media, she was crowned Miss New York State 2002. She was also the first Miss New York since Vanessa Williams to win the swimsuit preliminary in her quest for the Miss America title. Tiffany is an alumnus of LaGuardia H.S. of the Performing Arts and a graduate of Brooklyn College with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. Walker is also a motivational speaker, dance instructor, and personal development mentor for young people. (more)
Tracey Marie Allen Tracey Marie Allen is the mastermind behind all of Quest Media’s website architecture, management of web services strategy, and graphical assets. She sets the creative tone and has developed the specifications and design for the Quest Media website. At the same time, Tracey is also the Communications Associate at New Visions for Public School, an education reform organization dedicated to improving the quality of education children receive in New York City’s public school.
