is a four-time Academy Award nominee - perhaps best known for her starring role in the late 70’s film “The Goodbye Girl” with Richard Dreyfuss.

Besides her enormous success in film, Marsha is also an accomplished Broadway actress having appeared in such plays as “The Good Doctor”, “Night of the Iguana” and the recent “Steel Magnolias”.

Currently, Marsha Mason is back on Broadway starring in a new comedy called “A Feminine Ending”. The play is a bittersweet comedy about dreams deferred, loves lost and learning to trust a woman’s voice in a man’s world.

Mason is a native of St. Louis, Missouri, In 1987 she received a star on the St. Louis walk of Fame.

Marsha Mason was married to playwright and screenwriter Neil Simon, and starred in several movies based on his writings, including “The Goodbye Girl”, “Chapter Two” and “Only When I Laugh”. The 1979 film “Chapter Two” was based on her relationship with Simon. They divorced in 1984.

FACT: In 1997, Mason became a semi-regular on the popular NBC Sitcom “Frazier”, playing the love interest of Kelsey Grammer’s father John Mahoney.

Recently, Mason placed her organic New Mexico farm on the market. The asking price for the 250 acre property is currently listed at an eleven million dollars.

According to Mason: “I would like to have more time to just sit and take in the view and smell the roses, instead of worrying about whether or not the crops are going to be OK”.
