Todays guest is Broadcast Journalist Dr. Max Gomez. For the past 28 years Dr. Max has served as an on-air medical reporter - becoming a leading source of information about new developments in Science and Technology for millions of New Yorkers. Dr. Max can currently be seen as a medical reporter on WCBS-TV Channel 2 here in the big apple.

 

Dr. Max Gomez is a native of Havana, Cuba and a graduate of Princeton University. He is also the recipient of numerous journalism awards that includes eight (8) Television Emmys. He's been a fixture on New York television for three (3) decades as a Health and Science reporter and continues to do so at WCBS-TV Channel 2.

 

FACT: In 1986 Dr. Max Gomez was a "NASA Journalist-in-Space" semi-finalist.

 

Besides his work on television, Dr. Max has written numerous articles regarding the condition and treatment of topics such as obesity, heart health, strokes and cancer. In 2004 he co-authored the book "The Prostate Health Program - A Guide to Preventing and Controlling Prostate Cancer".

 

Today, Dr. Max Gomez continues to be one of New York's leading sources for medical news with his feature reports on WCBS-TV Channel 2.

 

Additionally, when he's not working on television, Dr. Max has become a much sought after speaker at academic, medical and educational institutions throughout the country.
