JENNIFER BARRETTA
One of the top female Billiard Players in the world...Beautiful, Sexy and Athletic. Jennifer got serious about playing pool at age 30 which is considered extremely late in any sport. Never the less, in 2003 she turned pro, and today is ranked No. 12 in the women's Professional Billiard Association.
Currently, Professional Billiards Player Jennifer Barretta is following in the footsteps of the former No. 1 player in the world - Jeanette Lee - dubbed the "Black Widow". Both women are as beautiful, talented and serve as high profile ambassador's in a sport that is in dire need of positive exposure and attention.
FACT: Each year over 40 million men and women in the U.S. play pool...However, in a recent poll - the majority of those that watch the sport on TV are men!
Prior to taking up pool, Barretta excelled as a tennis player and competitive snowboarder...she is also a former "Miss Philadelphia" fitness champion and Bodybuilder. Jennifer hopes to use all of this competitive experience on her quest to becoming the No. 1 female Billiards Player in the world.
Every year we see more than 150 hours of women's pool carried on ESPN...and over the past six years the WPBA's budget has doubled. Additionally, the BRAVO channel is about to launch a new show titled "Celebrity Pool".
The interest in the sport is obviously there - as Jennifer Barretta continues her Journey to becoming the top female pool player in the world.
