INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY

 Communications and Marketing Intern

Quest Media Entertainment, Inc., seeks applicants for a Communications and Marketing Internship.  Quest Media Entertainment is a television production company that produces television programs, television commercials and corporate promotional videos. 

Current productions include "NYC TV PROFILES", a 30-minute celebrity interview program that appears on NYC TV, New York City’s official television network.

This internship is a great way to get a hands-on introduction to working in communications and marketing.  The intern will assist the President of Quest Media with the coordination of key elements of projects to ensure that the company maintains a quality, creative, and consistent communications and marketing program.

 Tasks and responsibilities will include the following:

● creating and maintaining clip books featuring press coverage;

● conducting research for interviews;

● Drafting and / or editing and distribution of press releases;

● Assembling press packets;

● Assisting in the taping of commercials and television programs;

● Updating Quest Media’s communications database;

● Assisting with the lay-out of the bi-monthly newsletter by drafting or editing text;

● Updating information on Quest Media’s website; and

● Assisting with the coordination of special events.

Applicants must have the following qualifications:

● Highly organized, and a clear and meticulous writing ability with excellent communication skills.

● Prior experience in a fast-paced, detail oriented environment is preferred.

● Strong typing and computer skills with knowledge of Word, Outlook, and Excel required;

             Mail merge experience, Access, and Desktop Publishing experience a plus.

● Ability to work well under pressure, simultaneously handle multiple tasks, and

                   be capable of working independently or as part of a team.

The length of the Communications and Marketing Internship is flexible depending on availability, but must be at least 3 months.  This is an unpaid internship.  Candidates must be available for 10 to 15 hours a week.
