DANNY GLOVER
Danny Glover caught the acting bug in his late 20's while attending San Francisco State University. His first notable performance came in 1984 in "Places In The Heart" with Sally Field and John Malkovich. The following year Danny truly walked into the spotlight when he starred in Steven Spielberg's oscar nominated production of "The Color Purple".
Danny made his film debut in 1979, numerous memorable roles would follow. He is also recognized as a full time activist, his causes span from America awareness, to the Aids crisis in Africa, to mathematics education in the U.S.
Of his many critically acclaimed movie roles, Danny Glover might be most recognized opposite Mel Gibson in the immenseley popular Lethal Weapon film series. The first Lethal Weapon was produced in 1987, three more would follow. Making it one of the most successful film series of all time.
Today, Danny Glover remains one of the busiest and most sought after actors in Hollywood. When Danny isn't acting - he travels the globe as a full-time activist for a number of worthy causes.
